OUR SERVICES
Concrete Cart Paths
Prime Lake Services forms and pours concrete cart paths on Lake Hartwell. We suggest a layout based on USACE rules, review it with you and - if necessary - with the corps ranger. We strive to be the best in the business by having full time employees on the job, no sub contractors, no part timers. We even own and operate our own concrete pump truck. Our guys work on concrete every day!
Concrete Block Shoreline Steps with Wheel Ramps
Prime Lake Services builds maintenance free Shoreline Steps with or without boat dock wheel ramps. Our unique ramp design has been developed in house under the guidance of the US Army Corps of Engineers. Our design includes an anchor pad with a sleeve for the boat dock walkway anchor pin to secure the boat dock walkway. Sorry, no wooden steps as we don't believe in wood as a material to be used on a lakeshore.
Retaining Walls
Prime Lake Services has been building Retaining Walls since 2008 and has earned the reputation as the undisputed #1 retaining wall builder on Lake Hartwell. We are using a dry stacked decorative concrete block system. It is attractive, durable, maintenance free, and blends nicely into the environment. Integrated shoreline steps, using the same materials, result in a beautiful shoreline solution.
Steps on Steep Lots
The value of a lake lot is impacted by the accessibility of the shoreline. A concrete cart path may be a dangerous option on steep slopes. In that case decorative concrete block steps with connecting concrete pads are the permanent solution.
RipRap and River Rock
Shoreline protection with Granite RipRap and River Rock is common on Lake Hartwell. This sturdy solution paired with our optional concrete block shoreline steps with wheel ramps and an anchor pad will prevent further bank erosion and allow for dock access even when the lake drops.
ABOUT US
Prime Lake Services was founded in 2008 by Juergen Buch with the goal to create the best shoreline protection solutions on Lake Hartwell while also providing exceptional customer service and building a trustful relationship with the US Army Corps of Engineers. In 2019 Joe Hulme acquired the business and added concrete cart paths to the portfolio through his business Green Earth Landscaping. Both businesses now work hand in hand under Joe's ownership, using the same resources, and offering a wide range of shoreline, landscaping, and concrete products.
